Upgrade to Paid Plan
You can activate a paid plan by adding a new license key to your instance or you can upgrade to a higher tier plan by updating your license key. This page provides step-by-step instructions to upgrade your plan in Appsmith.
Prerequisites
- A self-hosted Commercial Edition. If you don't have one, see the installation guides for installing Commercial Edition. If you are on a Community Edition, see the Upgrade from Community Edition section.
- A valid license key. If you don't already have one, you can get it by signing up on customer.appsmith.com.
Add or update license key

Follow these steps to add your license key and activate your paid plan:
- Go to Admin Settings → License & Plans.
- On the License screen, enter your new license key in the Add Key field.
- Click the Activate button to apply the license.
If you wish to update your license key, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Admin Settings → License & Plans.
- On the Update license screen, enter the license key in the Enter license key field.
- Click the Submit button to apply and update your license key.
